203

The counter on my dashboard tells me this is blog 203rd post I've done. I'm sad to admit this but only until recently have I started posting more scriptural/personal/spiritual blogs. I realized that even more recently I have been whining and complaining with negative outlooks. Not this post. This one is intended for something different.
Some day we all have to take a stand and profess our faith. The message of Jesus needs to get out there. I am going to move boldly and make one here. Jesus Christ saved me from many things in life:a life-long addiction sin, myself, women, death, my own desires, and an inevitable death the way I was living 9-10 months ago. He loved me enough to pull me from the muck and mire. He brushed me off, gave me clean white clothes, and sent me on my way. When I fell again, he was right there to do it again. He's always right there running to us to help us up from the mud. Jesus doesn't want any thing in the world from us. It's all His one day. He just wants us to give Him something He exchanged us . . . our lives. I gave Him mine 8 years ago, honestly, I never really gave it to Him until recently. I can testify to His mercies. He came to pull us from the "goo" that is sin.
This is not typical blogger material but it's a message that needs to be heard. One day either when Christ comes back or on that glorious happy day when I go to meet Him, I want to hear my God say "Well done, my good and faithful servant." So, I encourage my fellow believers today/tonight/this morning whenever you find yourself reading these words on your screen. Show someone the Christ that lives in you not the One the world portrays. Demonstrate to people His love . . . and prove to people that the condemnation the world believes He brings is a myth. Expound upon the ways He teaches, elaborate on His principles, and most assuredly encompass all He taught us. Love.
And if you find yourself reading this and not knowing who this Jesus I speak of. Invite Him into your heart. You won't regret it. I know I have never once regretted asking Him into mine.
