Yep

Well it has been a week since my last post so I thought I'd give a new one to those who don't comment. Today, it is a sweltering heat. I love heat; just not humidity. I can spend all day in Vegas in the summertime 110+ degree heat. It's freakin awesome. It's just when humidity is added when it becomes unbearable. Well onto the target. The other day I was playing ESPN NFL 2K5 and became very sad as I was playing as the Vikings. I (as Daunte) threw the ball 50+ yards and to whom? Randy Moss . . . never again will it happen. I mean seriously; not even in the Pro-Bowl. Sick! what the Vikings did. (I am very sure the exclaimation point is very ill-grammatical but I saw something to that effect yesterday in a hymnal)

Well I did some dishes today, I discovered I don't mid doing dishes as long as I have some tunes to listen to. Want some good tunes? Well let me find some for you. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Here's some. I know they're kind of old but a new one is on the way this August. So now I must be off I think I need to go throw my face into ice water.

BFF- Boaw Fom Froosh

Well kiddies (kiddies is a generalizing term for those 9-92, The oldies are those younger than 2 and older than 92), yesterday was Father's Day and not Farmers Day like I thought at 3 AM on Saturday/Sunday/Tigerday. Seriously, who knows what day it is at 3 AM? But so now I must find a way to tie this all together so read carefully.

After church we had softball practice, I tried my hand out in the field and hurt my shoulder/neck So I decided to take my place for Monday: THE BENCH!!!! I play that position like A-Rod plays Tennis. But anyhow, I came home afterwards and had to inflate tires, weed-whack my neighbor's yard until she needed me to run to the gas-station for gas for her. She apparently is scared to death to do it. So I willingly went. He husband is going to be 92 this Thursday. I've known them since I was in 1st grade. Very nice people. But back to the story. . .

We ate dinner at like 6:30 or so. Afterwards, my brother, my father, and I all got into a disagreement over what else . . . politics. But it wasn't a normal issue, you know: taxes, hot issues (see me for the details and my views on them if interested I won't put my view on here, not good to mix politics and blogs), or (D) vs. (R). It was on whether the government should be forcing children to learn Spanish and English in the southern states. My brother feels they should be forced to learn both and thusly have a poorer education than traditional English-speaking students. My dad and I felt that if they (immigrants from Spanish-speaking countires) don't want to learn English, then they can leave. My ancestors came from Poland, Croatia (Dalmatia), Norway, Finland, and Sweden. In fact, a lot of people in this area's relatives came from the same areas, but we don't speak those languages as official languages. If they want to teach Spanish, make it electives. I am a strong supporter of the EFA (English First Amendment). It is shown in studies that students who are forced to learn in both Spanish and English test at such a low percentile that they struggle with the basics. And I don't want to be asked how I know because this year I got to know a few students well enough to the point where they told me their background. They weren't given the proper time/care in high school because they were forced to learn bi-lingual education. The teachers would struggle trying to teach in both languages. Imagine learning learning math in an already poor learning environment, then add on learning it in Spanish as well; Not good.

After I was finished crushing my brothers points into the ground, I stood up and said very boldly & loudly, "Those views are liberalistic and I will not tolerate them in my house!" My dad, step-mother, and step-sister busted up laughing. I then ended up finishing the day by quoting well . . . myself, "It's just like the floor of the Senate the (insert God's Own Party here) wins and the (Devil's Foreign Legion inserted here) doesn't have a leg to stand on."

How sweet?

What's up with that title? I don't know but if you stay tuned to this post you'll find out. So I thought I'd do this post journal-esque.

Day 147: Today is the 146th day without rain. It continues to come. The ground is supersaturated with water. It's like walking on a big waterbed. The rivers are now overfilled. They've created their own dams. People's basements are flooding. It's only a matter of time before it happens to me. I am locked inside the house with the terrential downpours. My only hope now is prayer. . . although that should have been the first option. Oh . . . here it come . . . . . (Gargle gargle . . . . )

Ok, well maybe that ^^^ was a bit exaggerated, but you have to admit the rain is very tiring. So I won't complain about it. Instead I will do one of my renowned CD reviews.

On Friday, I bought 2 new CDs. But I will only review one for now. . . . but which one? I know alphabetical order will decide. So we'll start with SONICFLOOD. Wait, how is that Alphabetical? It's reverse Alphabetical. Anyway, the songs are very good; very rock and roll. I like every song on the CD. It's a rarity I ever do that. There is only one other CD I've loved every track and that is (of course) Thousand Foot Krutch's Set It Off. But to get it all along. The CD doesn't sound like typical worship/SONICFLOOD. I tried playing it yesterday morning for pre-service and as I was told by Phil, "Al said change the CD, it's not Sunday Morning music." But when I informed them it was SONICFLOOD, their demeanor changed. I recommend the CD This Generation. 9.6 A.

The title comes froma lyric in the SONICFLOOD song "More Than Anything"

Oh . . . .

Right'o everyone. What is up my peeps? This is your favorite "Dangeresque" one writing to you from beyond the graveyard. Well maybe not . . . Although I suppose if you're coming from the west I am beyond it as I'm on the "EAST SIDE!". I used to belong to the west. So as far as that goes I'm west side all the way. . .

Yeah, well today I had a 6 AM wake up so I could get to the church and tear down the music equipment. Today, I took notes though on what monitors went where and such. It will be a heck of a lot easier setting it back up too or so I'm hoping. Well I also get a $50 check for doing it all. I must not splurge it though. I have bowling and pizza to pay for in a week. I do though want a new CD and since the new LA Symphony doesn't come out for 2 more months I can't decide on one. I was though thinking of the new Sonic Flood. Any suggestions? (please note all suggestions are subject to ridicule and denial.) Well, this post was pointless. I do though want to extend a congratulatory hand towards 2 groups of people: 1. The graduates of this school year. You have bills, bills, bills, and more bills to look forward to . . .but not too many bills. And the 2nd. I do want to say a happy belated D-Day to all veterans of the greatest military campaign in human history. You gave it your darnedest and it paid off. I'm free. Although I think the biggest thanks goes to those who didn't return from the landing.

Good News Everybody.

Well I'll start off with this: My dog is feeling much better. She no longer has swelling in her face. So it's all good now.

Well, what do I talk about? I was thinking of doing a review of a CD, but I haven't gotten any new ones. So now I'm thinking a movie review, but I just saw Nat'l Treasure last night. I don't want to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it. Perhaps I can write about a new video game, but not everyone is interested in ESPN MLB 2K5. Well what do I write about? I know . . . my . . . um er . . . . . uh . . . . jeepers . . . For the second timeever, it appears I'm at a loss for words.

Ah, I have an idea. I usually try and get some nice CG(computer graphics) desktops from DigitalBlasphemy.com I got the newest Desktop and I am content with it because when it's like 80 and humid, it makes me feel "cooler" (pun intended). Check out their free gallery; you'll find some cool things. Well I suppose that does that post in.

Right . . .

Well today is almost over. I have 15 minutes to get this post in. I felt rather poorly today. Not because I'm sick or anything. I didn't do anything wrong. So why was I feeling bad? Well let me start with this: I put my dog, Morgan, outside this morning at 9:30 or so. So, she's outside no more than 5 minutes when I went to bring her in. I look at her face and it's puffed out. It basically looks like she's been stung by an insect on both eyes. That's happened before. She'd been stung by what I believe to be a wasp. In that case, her eye was all puffy and there was a large cut over it. So today, I look at the ground to see if there are any dead insects out there. None. So now I'm not sure what it was. I called my dad to inform him of her condition, he recommends putting her in her kennel for the day. My step-mom gets home and notices the poor pooch's entire face is swelling. So now I feel even worse for her. So now if anyone out there has any idea what happened comment. I am at a loss. She didn't even whine or yelp when it happened.

So I have a question for you off the subject of my dog. Ever notice the two types of "energy drinks" out there? There are the heavily caffeinated one who enough sugar to send a diabetic into shock. And then there are the herbal ones. Which is better?

Darkwing Dan

After a closer inspection today, a still swollen face, and the sensitivity to light (not to mention some shuddering) I have determined to be someone pepper-sprayed her. (I'm not just saying it for no reason, I never found any stingers or puncture wounds on her. Plus when I washed her face yesterday the swelling went down dramatically after an hour or so.)
