The Video

So the other day in IPC (Interpersonal Communication) we had to watch a video on something from the mid-90's. It was a new concept called "Radical Honesty". Well the point of this is to sit down face-to-face with someone and tell them what you "resent" about them and what you "appreciate" about them. So we watched about 3.78 minutes of the video and were introduced to Maria.

Now, this lady could only be described as . . . vindictive. This lady resented the guy who we'll just call "Felix". (Why Felix? Because it's my story and I said so.) So Maria is ranting on about her resentment for him "loving her but not being in love with her", "dating other women without her knowing", and "never wanting to get married". I should mention she was screaming at the top of her lungs at Mr. Felix and that she did admire him for making her "feel loved" (???????)

All Felix can say to this is "I resent you for your nose." The guy may have the greatest comeback ever to all those personal attacks. And I should also mention these facts as well: They had broken up 2-3 months before the video was filmed and that she refused to believe it was over with Mr. Wonderful. Finally, that the video was filmed at a seminar costing $2,000 a person.

What a world. Perhaps I will make a list of the things I resent about people . . . it would be healthy according to the video.
